Redmond Oregon Beauty

We love living and working in . The outdoor beauty and climate of the high desert never disappoints. There is world class rock climbing, lakes, and rivers for fishing just minutes away. The city has done a great job with parks, and we have some great restaurant choices as well. We could go on, but I love what the Redmond chamber has to say about the awesome city that we live in. Here are some of the best things about the city:

The Redmond experience is one that truly reflects the best of Central . Whether hiking the trails at Smith Rock or shopping Redmond’s quaint downtown shops, you will quickly discover why so many people choose to call Redmond home. And with around 320 days of sunshine each year, the door remains firmly open for you to cultivate your own year-round Redmond experiences.

Uniquely situated at the western edge of the High Desert, Redmond is just four miles from the Deschutes River, a half-hour drive from the Cascade Mountains and within minutes of several picturesque lakes. Redmond is also home to Robert’s Field, Central Oregon’s only commercial airport. Redmond rests on the High Desert plateau at an elevation of 3,077 feet above sea level, which makes this an ideal location to take advantage of the best weather Central Oregon has to offer.

The chamber is a great place to get information about the city. The city website also has some great things to say about the demographics and the specific information about Redmond. Check it out:

Long known as the ‘HUB’ of Central Oregon, Redmond is home to the region’s commercial airport and is located at the crossroads of the main transportation artilleries of US Highway 97 and US Highway 126. Redmond offers abundant recreation opportunities in all directions. Recently the community has transformed itself into a rejuvenated town with upscale restaurants, brewpubs, lodging, a bustling farmers market in summer and outdoor ice skating in winter. Add in a few open-air music events and a growing antique and art scene and Redmond is fast experiencing a renaissance.

Be sure to use the sites listed above to learn more about what Redmond has to offer. We believe it is the best place to live in Central Oregon, and we are proud to serve this community and improve its beauty through our landscaping.
